ABOUT US

Opened in 1999, ComQuest Academy was founded on the belief that all children can learn and that education is paramount to a strong society. ComQuest Academy endeavors to offer Academic and Career & Technology education opportunities to all populations.

ComQuest Academy follows the mandatory credit requirements determined by the State of Texas. The curriculum, Star Spangled Skills, was developed by The Charter Resource Center in San Antonio and is aligned with the state-developed TEKS (Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills). For this reason, students transferring from the traditional school districts are able to transition easily in most cases. ComQuest Academy believes in a "learning by doing" philosophy, and tries to model classes after this philosophy.

ComQuest Academy accepts 9th to 12th graders from the Tomball area and surrounding vicinities. We serve 85-90 students per semester and classes are kept small. In most cases, there are no more than 20 students per class.

ComQuest Academy requires that high school students participate in the program for workforce development. Students who have a job or hold regular volunteer positions are given elective credit. To be eligible for the full credit, students are required to work 15-20 hours per week.
